Pulitzer Prize–winning composer Ellen Reid hosts this week’s Classical Californians. She has curated an hour of music that explores how voices and instruments can create moments of reflection and meaning. She shares pieces by Ravel, Jonny Greenwood, Alice Coltrane, Sault, and Lou Harrison, along with a performance featuring violinist Leila Josefowicz. Reid also includes a passage from her own opera p r i s m, created with librettist Roxie Perkins. It’s a thoughtful, moving hour of music. Tune in Tonight at 7PM!
