Classical California is so much more than a radio station. I discovered it as a kid and the station still sounds great. We are proud supporters. Giving from one’s substance is a more rewarding effort than giving from one’s surplus. The quest is worthy.

I am a fan of classical music and a loyal supporter of my local Classical Radio Station. In fact, I enjoy Classical California in my home 7 days a week! It is my island of sanity in this confusing world.

Classical California wakes us up in the morning and brings us to work and school, carries us home at night, soothes our nerves and makes life lighter, defines our emotions individually and connects us universally. It is an integral part of our family.

Every day, Classical California triumphantly fills the universe with the greatest music ever written and performed. For decades, you have stood as the guardian of classical music that clears our minds, inspires our hearts, and invigorates us.

Classical music has been a source of great joy for the better part of my life, and I have been listening to you for close to fifty years.

I play the saxophone. One day I was assigned a piece from Orpheus in the Underworld. I really liked how fun and how fast it was. I am a 7th grader, and when you play music on your instrument and then you hear it on Classical California, it's pretty cool.

Music—especially classical music—is the highest expression of the human spirit. Thank you for providing this amazing experience to everyone (24/7) with informed, imaginative, and witty comments by your excellent staff. We are proud supporters!

I was introduced to Classical music in 1990 when I went back to school. I began listening each day and fell in love with many pieces of music. I now listen to Jennifer Miller Hammel in the morning and enjoy all the information that she shares.

Thank you from 3 generations of Classical California die-hard fans; 2 of them Trojans from undergrad through doctorate (I was the rebel). Love you and all your voices.

Thank you for airing works by contemporary composers, including Rebecca Oswald. Her music is magical. I light up every time it comes up in the rotation.

I think of Classical California as a true community service and am thankful for its presence.

I was introduced to the wonders of Saint-Saëns and Pelecis thanks to Classical California and my world is richer for it!

I first heard a selection from Christopher Tin’s "Shiver the Sky" on Classical California, and it gave me the shivers. It is a wonderful experience of orchestral and choral music that reflects the best side of the human experience...the striving to know.

Whether it’s gardening with 'Mozart in the Morning’ or creating art accompanied by Mahler, I am inspired by the musical selections and commentary on KDFC. BRAVA to Classical California for its vibrant musical and educational presence in our communities.

We have been supporters of KDFC for years and believe in their mission and importance to the Bay Area's cultural quality of life. We are pleased to support by giving annually for general operations as well as to the campaign to move into the Bowes Center.
