This week on Classical Californians, we feature Hunter Noack, a pianist and the founder of IN A LANDSCAPE: Classical Music in the Wild, an outdoor concert series that brings a Steinway grand piano to parks, forests, deserts, and other natural settings across the American West. Based in Oregon and trained at the San Francisco Conservatory of Music and the University of Southern California, Noack created the series in 2016 to connect audiences with both classical music and the outdoors. His work has included performances in California locations such as Yosemite and Joshua Tree National Parks, offering a unique way to experience music in the landscape itself.
