Classical Californians: Leonard Slatkin

Our next Classical Californian is conductor Leonard Slatkin, who's well known to audiences in the state. He's got a very special edition of the show featuring the musical members of his extended family: his parents, who were both accomplished string players, and members of the Hollywood String Quartet in the 1940s and '50s; his brother, a cellist; as well as his son, who's also a composer and conductor… It's a family in love with music across several generations.
