KDFC Teams with the SF Conservatory for a Special “Radio Opera” Broadcast | Sunday 8PM PT
What’s a “radio opera”? Join KDFC and Dianne Nicolini this Sunday night for a special presentation of an opera that was written especially for the radio: 1939’s The Old Maid and the Thief by Gian Carlo Menotti. The one-act production, which showcases the gifted young musicians of the San Francisco Conservatory of Music, includes old-timey radio sound effects and narration. This Sunday at 8pm on KDFC.
