After several months of rehearsals, performances, submissions and a total of over 140,000 votes from KDFC listeners, it’s time to announce the winner of this year’s KDFC’s Local Vocals High School Choir Sing-Off: Gunn High School Concert Choir! You can watch their winning audition videos below.

Gunn High School Concert Choir will appear on the national youth talent radio show NPR’s From the Top with Host Christopher O’Riley when they come to live recording of From the Top at UC Berkeley’s Zellerbach Hall in March, presented by Cal Performances.

Congratulations to the other top three finalists, Castro Valley High School and Oakland School for the Arts!

And a HUGE thank you to all the choirs who participated and gave our listeners a glimpse into the bright future of classical music.
